Unfolding for forty hours over five days, three actors improvise a sexually-charged, silent psychodrama; shifting relationships are articulated with glances, gestures, and movement. Framed by paint-dripping geometric sculptures and partitions that stain the space over time, With One Hand Between Us disorients the gender and sexual conventions of both New York School painting and Minimalism, and playfully references a wide range of cinema, from Fassbinder to the Japanese New Wave. Curated by David Everitt Howe.
