Zefrey Throwell is a New York-based artist investigating the underpinnings of social discourse through the study of radio, painting, and people. Major exhibitions include Node Center, Berlin (2011); 54th Venice Biennale, Venice (2011); Queens Museum of Art, New York (2010); Whitney Museum of American Art, New York (2010); Guggenheim Museum, New York (2009); Center for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow (2006); and the Littman Gallery, Portland, Oregon (2005).
