Berlin and Hamburg-based artist Jonathan Meese (b. 1970, Tokyo) is a painter, sculptor, performance artist and installation artist. Major exhibitions include Contemporary Fine Arts, Berlin (2004); Saatchi Gallery, London (2004); Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt (2003); Galerie Daniel Templon, Paris (2002); and Galerie Sabine Knust, Munich (2002).
