Mika Rottenberg (b. 1976, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a New York-based artist known for her video installations that envision the female body as a locus of contentions concerning labor, class, and materialism. Select solo exhibitions include De Appel, Amsterdam (2011); the Bonniers Konsthall, Stockholm (2011); the Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco (2010); La Maison Rouge, Paris (2009); and the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2006). Select major exhibitions include the Guggenheim Museum, New York (2010); Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo (2010); Transmission Gallery, Glasgow (2009); the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Spain (2009); Z33 Gallery, Hasselt, Belgium (2009); the 2008 Whitney Biennial, New York (2008); and the Julia Stoschek Collection, Dusseldorf, Germany (2008).

New York-based artist Jon Kessler (b. 1957, Yonkers, New York) is best known for his kinetic sculptures that leave the mechanics exposed for the viewer. Major exhibitions include the Park Avenue Armory Show, New York (2011); Fisher Landau Center for Art, New York (2011); Museum Tinguely, Basel (2009); P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, New York (2005); Deitch Projects, New York (2004); Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh (1991); Contemporary Art Museum, Houston (1987); and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (1986); 1985 Whitney Biennial, New York (1985); and the Museum of Modern Art, New York (1983). Kessler’s work is included in many permanent collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
